Wrapping Up…

On June 18th/19th we:

  • finished any last minute puzzle presentations
  • handed in any missing work
  • received our updated mark

You will get an email on June 20th with your final mark.  We will work on some sample numeracy exam questions on June 20th/21st.

On June 13th/14th/15th we:

  • had puzzle presentations from the students who were ready

Please remember to hand in your puzzle rules and your sample solutions!  Also, if anything needs to be photocopied, please hand it in to me the day before and tell me how many copies you think you’ll need!

  • completed our retests if we hadn’t already
  • handed in our assignments for the logical reasoning unit if we hadn’t already
  • were given time to complete the Puzzle Project.

The earliest presentation date for Day 1s is June 12th.  The earliest presentation date for Day 2s is June 11th.  The final opportunity to present your project is June 18th/19th.

On June 5th/6th we:

  • warmed up with a logic puzzle
  • completed our retests if we had handed in our forms
  • handed in our assignments for the logical reasoning unit
  • were given time to complete the Puzzle Project.

The earliest presentation date for Day 1s is June 12th.  The earliest presentation date for Day 2s is June 11th.  The following puzzles/games have already been selected, so please make sure to pick a different one and confirm it with me!

Puzzle Project Intro

On June 1st/4th we:

  • warmed up with a logic puzzle
  • were given the Puzzle Project criteria and details.  We had time to start to think about this project.  Next day you will be asked to “reserve” your puzzle (so that we don’t have any duplicates).  Come ready with your ideas!  It will be a work period so come prepared.
  • were given time to make sure we have all of our assignments done for this unit – they will be due next class!
  • were reminded about the in-class retest day for the quadratic functions unit
